beaches....are these the right choices?

i have been to clearwater a few times so wanted to go to a different beach so have decided to go to sarasota to crescent beach (heard that its very very lovely)

but also wanted to go to an exciting beach with lots going on so was going to go to daytona (we go in october so i think the bike fest is on) or is cocoa beach a better option?

You will love the Daytona Beach area if you want exciting things to do. Go to the TA Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Port Orange, Daytona Beach Shores areas to read reviews of things to do.

We recommend the Best Western Aku Tiki Inn for a very nice hotel with lovely grounds and lots to do. Good luck!

I wopuld check the Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce or google ';Biketoberfest'; to make sure of the dates.

If you plan to go to Daytona during the Biketoberfest, the hotels book up well in advance, so you%26#39;ll need to make reservations soon if you plan to stay overnight. Also, it can get very rowdy during that time.... R-17 or M rated, if you get my drift, so if you will have children with you, be forewarned.

Go to the Gulf of Mexico side if you want beautiful beaches. The Atlantic side has brown sand compared to white beaches on the Gulf side. I have been to both sides and was very disappointed in Daytona.

The Bike Fest is Oct 16th - 19th but crowds will start forming several days before. I would not want to be anywhere near Daytona at that time, it will be worse then Disney at Christmas !
