Hutchinson Island vs Nettles Island

We are going down to Florida during Christmas break. Nettles Island seems to be a lot cheaper than Hutchinson island. Has anyone ever been to these 2 places? Is Hutchinson Island (we are looking into Ocean Village) worth the extra cost? Should we save our money and walk or drive farther to the beach? Is Nettles Island super crowded?

my opinion..nettles%26#39; island is packed full of houses and people....other plaee son the island oar so muchnicer and on the ocean rather than the beath. I would spend my money elsewhere...

Hutchinson Island vs Nettles Island

There%26#39;s a great place to rent if you%26#39;re driving down in a motor home, esp if you want a fantastic place to stay for a month or so. It%26#39;s on Nettle%26#39;s Island. You can get info at www.nettlesislandrentals.com

Nettle%26#39;s isn%26#39;t crowded any more than other places, and has a LOT to offer and at a way affordable price. They even have wifi now and anything else you can think of.

Nettles Island is on the river, you must cross over to get to the beach, Nettles has it%26#39;s own beach property with club house and pool. Most of Nettles is small mobile homes, mostly retirement but plenty of activity with pools, tennis court, basketball court, clubhouse, etc. Nice place if you have an RV. For the money, I%26#39;d rather go across the street from Nettles and rent at Island Beach Resort condos where you have an ocean view and pool at your doorstep.
