Cocoa beach

Nice beach, look for the chocolate fish ;-)

Cocoa beach

We went last year having heard glowing reports and left disappointed. The beaches on the gulf coast are much nicer and the town itself seemed a bit down on its luck. Won%26#39;t be going back this year.

It%26#39;s a lovely beach, the only downside was i burnt my feet when we were there!

It is a great beach. Lot%26#39;s of Boogie Boarding and Body Surfing. Have lunch at Rusty%26#39;s down the road near the cruise ship terminal.

It%26#39;s okay, not the best beach in the world but if you can go to the Gulf coast instead, that would be better. If you can head south towards Naples, really gorgeous down there!

I rented a body board but the waves weren%26#39;t big enough!

we visited this beach in May and if was great. even though it was a hot day there was a lovely cool breeze from the ocean. well worth a visit.

We prefer the Daytona Beach area, more to do if you get tired of playing in the sand, surf and sun.

You can rent, bicycles, ATVs, golf carts, recumbent bikes, seadoos, etc. You may also drive your car onto the beach (small fee). Aunt Catfish%26#39;s for lunch, Bubba Gumps, Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, gokarts, drag race simulator, Daytona Speedway, greyhound racing, free Angel %26amp; Phelps chocolate factory tour, minor league baseball, and lots more.

It depends on the day...sometimes there are huge waves %26amp; dirty sand...sometimes it is very calm %26amp; much cleaner. Living in Orlando, we%26#39;ll go there for a quick beach fix, but it is not my #1 choice. I like the west coast beaches much better. Or I even prefer New Smyrna to Cocoa...the sand is much whiter, there%26#39;s a National Park, %26amp; has a cute strip of shops/restaurants that you can walk along. It takes about 10 minutes more than driving to Cocoa...it%26#39;s worth it.
