Thinking of booking here for our pre-cruise night, but will need to do a little shopping for sodas %26amp; wine to take on board.
Can anyone offer any advice?
We will be traveling with a toddler and would appreciate to be able to walk safely to shopping.
Thanks in advance!

NO problem- just west of there and across teh street is a shopping center with a Publix supermarket and a Total Wine Superstore. very safe walk of a few blocks- there is a traffic light at the Embassy Suites at Cordova Road and the Harbor Shops is behind that hotel. I do have to say that even though the center is only a few blocks east, it is a bit off the street behind Embassy , so not sure if it will be an easy walk for your toddler- do you have a stroller?.
The City bus and/or the Suntrolley( weekends only for the Trolley I think) will run east /west along that street if you would rather ride the few blocks. Ask at your hotel for the closest stop. The trolley pulls right up to the Publix.
If your cruise line is Royal Carribean, be aware that they confiscate wine and alcohol upon embarkation and return it the last night. We just got back from one of their cruises in May and saw it taken from everyone. I don%26#39;t know if the other cruise lines are as strict.
