Mosquitos in August

Does anyone know if we would have problems with mosquitos in August.

We have only been to Orlando in February previously so have no idea.

any tips welcome.

Mosquitos in August

It is sooo hot and humid with the humidity reaching 100% about the whole month. The average temperature is 92 and up with the humidity, making it feel like 110. Also, they have severe weather like every other day with hail and damaging winds and about 3000 lighting strikes per hour during some storms. And there are big mosquitos attacking every open piece skin and the sweat pours down like a waterfall, well sometimes. But i am probably over exaggerating but it is hot. You should still go though. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor recreation and people are friendly and there is plenty of dining places. Enjoy visiting the beach and have fun in the florida sun!

Mosquitos in August

Hi, We went last August and i didn%26#39;t get bit once and I%26#39;m the type of gal that when I step off the plane(in spain, greece ect) there%26#39;s usualy a mosquitos greeting commitee waiting for me so I think your pretty safe. Happy holidays

When we%26#39;ve been in August we%26#39;ve never had a problem with mossies, although I%26#39;m certain they must be around in droves!

We%26#39;ve used repellent as a precaution in the evenings but, to be honest, the weather is so humid it just seems to run off your skin.
