Handling strike @ Gatwick

just flicked to Gatwick website and saw that Swissport (a baggage handling company) are planing a strike on Monday 20th August and Friday 25th August

THIS WILL AFFECT VIRGIN ATLANTIC AND OTHERS!!!

Swissport ground handling strike

Some Swissport staff responsible for baggage handling and check-in at Gatwick have announced their intention to strike on Monday 25 and Friday 29 August.

BAA Gatwick is working with Swissport and the airlines it represents, to minimise the potential impact on passengers planning to travel on the strike dates. If you are travelling on either strike day please contact your airline for further guidance.
