water temp in November

Hi. I%26#39;ll be staying in bradenton beach a few houses

from the beach in mid november. The house I%26#39;m

considering doesn%26#39;t have a pool. Do you think it

would be better to have a pool at that time of year

or will the water be warm enough to swim in? Any

ideas on what the water temperature might be? Thanks.

Judy

I guess it depends what temps you are used to - we have been in the sea in November and found it a comfortable temp. At the same time the locals are walking the beach in fleeces.

IMO it is better to have a pool as it is easy to go for a quick swim at any time whereas the beach entails taking loads of stuff with you, particularly with kids in tow. Our kids, although they love the beach, do have more fun in the pool than the sea.

In November it should be easy enough to find a place with a pool if you think you will need it. It%26#39;s low season and there should be some good deals.

We swim in November but it is a little cool and it all depends on if we have had any cool weather in late October or first of Novemeber. There is no way to predict it and at that time of year once the gulf water cools off it will stay cool until April/May.

I would agree that it is most likely possible to get great deals if you are not planning to stay over the 21st to 23rd november :-))

def. a big PLUS to have a pool in november!

You are the BEST Sascha, thanks my friend :)))))

In November the Gulf is between 70f and 78f. Cool but not too cold. I have swam on Thanksgivng many times... Mark
