Trip Report 8/4 - 8/11

well, our long, long trip start in Monterrey, Mexico at 3:40 am from saturday 2 Agost08.

i drive at 5:00 am from Monterrey to Laredo, Texas.

8:20 am we get the US Permits and drove to Lake Charles,LA arrive at 18:20 hrs.

sunday 3 Ago. start to drive to Tallahassee, FL and arrive at 19:00.

Monday 4, start to drive to Orlando at 9:30 and

i stop the truck in the entrace of Disney (the kids plays Nintendos) and say to kids, ';how you are be good in school and with parents.. and they still playing, so i spoken loauder and say look at front of the truck ';they screaming ';DISNEY';, they dont belive where we are.

arrive at Port Orleans Resort at 13:40 hrs.

we do a check in and 15 minutes after, we have ours cards to the rooms and parks.

whe spend rest of the day in Downtown, i think maybe is not the best option, but next day we up early in the morning for the fisrt them Park

Magic Kingdom: these day the park have EMH morning. so wake up at 6:30 am, eat cereal, and start to enjoy the park.

our idea was the kids enjoy all parks, so we do flying dumbo, cinderella carrusel, country bear jambory, its a small world, peter pan麓s flight, almost all games, splash mountain and big thunder mountain we do with kids and scared but enjoy after,

donald麓s boat is a quick raid, and funny for the kids.

stitch great scape was funny and scare for my boy

the pirates of the caribbean, was good, but i expect more, my kids was scared for the darkness of the tunnel.

the enchanted tiki room, we enjoy is funy

space mountain, was closed around 15:00 and not available rest of the day, so we miss these attraction

the worst time that we have to wait was 60 minutes.

we take tow days to view all magic kingdom park

Epcot: soaring please not missing, the little boy, enjoy and want to repeat, but we have a 55 minutes wait time.

honey i shurnk the audience, is great my wife scared

with some scenes and special efects.

journey into the imagination. was good.

Disney Hollywood Studios: we enjoy the toy story mania, wait time: 50 minutes

tower of terror (we do a child swap) my wife down from attraction, scared. but happy. wait time: 20 minutes we do early when park opening

Rock and roller coaster was my first coaster and i was scared, but once in the car i enjoy, we use FAST PAST.

lights, motors, action: we arrive early and wait 20 minutes to show started, the little boy enjoy.

dont missing Fantasmic. is realy imagination.

HSM: good show, the girls loved.

turtle talk with Crush; is funny and kids enjoy.

test track: missing

space ship to earth: the little boy enjoy and we repeated.

Animal Kingdom: Expetition Everest was great, not so scary, use FAST PAST

Kaly river rapids, we do and we finish wet. wait time: 20 minutes we do early in morning.

triceratop spin: enjoy wait time :20 minutes

finding nemo, great dont missing

Festival of Lion King: espectacular, we enjoy.

is tough to be a bug, we do early in morning wait time 15 minutes

dinomrama is great for kids

water parks,

blizzar beach: ski patrol training camp, great for the kids.

tike麓s peak: kids enjoy.

slush gusher: great but i expect more adrenalin

missing attractions, but the kids was happy

thypoon lagon

i do storm slides

crush n gusher: was great

mayday falls,

surf pool: the girl was happy, but be careful the floor was rough so you can scratch you skin

we missin attaction, but the kids enjoy all possible

not missing the pared at each parks.

we eat burgers, turkey leg, ice cream, popcorns and every day we spend only $40 usd. or less

we eat in hotel room, cereal, or sanwhichs.

we eat in golden corral the food is good but is the sames aleast the two days that we went.

these is may little help that i can give to you

Partypa yes, at lease 2 weeks, becouse we loose some attractions.

we starter to save some money to make other magical vacations.

So glad to see you had fun. I know last year when I was telling you about the different areas you wanted to stop at, that you could make the drive faster and see that you did.It was not that bad once you get into the US, was it???Anyway,did you enjoy Port Orleans? We were there 8 years ago, and my kids were close to yours in age and they Loved it.especially the pool.Glad that after the problem last year that you were able to show your kids a good time.Its expensive and we have only done it once, but its a memory my kids will always remember.
