Captain's Table

While in Panama City Beach last summer,,we saw several clips about the Captain%26#39;s Table on beach tv. We are returning this summer and would like to try this restaurant. Has anyone on this board tried it ,,how was it???

I have not, personally, eaten there but a co-worker and his wife did last year. They thought it was very nice and very good. Don%26#39;t know much else though.

We ate there 2 years ago. It%26#39;s a cute place just across Hathaway bridge into Panama City. Nothing fancy but the food was good and the service was great. Better yet the prices were even greater!!!!

Well, I guess this reply is about two years late, but I wanted to share our experience. My husband and I took a vacation to Panama City Beach last year with another couple. We found a listing for The Captain%26#39;s Table and discovered it was over the bridge to the east and had to call for directions.

Once we found the restaurant, it became apparent to us that this is where all the locals go for great seafood at low prices. The parking lot out back was paved with what appeared to be oyster shells, and it was packed. Once inside we were seated immediately. The prices were 1/3 less than anywhere else on Front Beach Rd or Thomas Drive. The menu selections were similar to what you might find at one of the higher-end seafood places on the main strip. I asked our server%26#39;s opinion on two or three of the dishes so that I could narrow down my selection, and her advice was honest and excellent.

Our food arrived quickly and it was wonderful quality, the freshest seafood available. We are making the same trip with our friends again in September this year, and we are already planning on eating at The Captain%26#39;s Table at least twice during our week long stay. You can%26#39;t go wrong with this restaurant.

PistolPie you are right on with that review. The food is great and very reasonable. Tony and I go at least 2 times while we%26#39;re down. It is really good. We might even make 3 or 4 times. Love lunch and dinner there. When in September are you going? We%26#39;re headed there Labor Day week.

Pistolpie%26#39;s review is absolutley correct. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable and the locals really do eat there. One of our favorite restaurants to eat at.

You can%26#39;t beat Captain%26#39;s Table for freshness and quality. Time after time the food is abolutely delicious and perfectly cooked.

Last year when some Panama City seafood restaurants were being busted for serving fish other than grouper, when grouper was on their menu, Cap%26#39;s Table was never even mentioned or suspected.

Most places around here are good one time and awful the next, but Cap%26#39;s Table is good every time. That%26#39;s why most of the people you see in there are local folks.

went to jr hi and hi school with owner...his family been around pc a long time so you get the locals at capt table...knows a lot of people, plus he used to be a boat captain after hi school

Captain%26#39;s Table is my number 1 pick for PCB.

Go to the Restaurant section here and read all the reviews on it. I believe the reviews for Captain%26#39;s Table are under Panama City.....not Panama City Beach, but I may be wrong.

Great place, cannot wait to go back!
