Ive brought the Orlando Flexi Ticket Plus and on the letter that came with it, it says we need to produce photo ID when using it.
Is this the case that everytime we visit a park we need to take ID with us? If so will a photocopy of our passports be ok?
Many Thanks
Orlando Flexi Ticket Plusemmark, dont worry, ours said that too - we are here at moment, when you put your ticket in the machine, you have to place your finger on the scanner, and it identifies you.
We%26#39;ve bought with us, photocopies of our id, just in case, but as yet have not had to use it.
Orlando Flexi Ticket PlusI don%26#39;t really understand what the point of that is - they don%26#39;t know what my fingerprint should look like so how can they identify me by it??
Hi Camcw
Taking your fingerprint is to stop more than one person using the same ticket. Each ticket has an individual bar code. On first use your fingerprint is take using a digital scanner (the same as they use in US immigration) and the bar code on the ticket is scanned. The bar code on the ticket is then linked to your fingerprint. Every time you use your ticket your finger is rescanned. If the fingerprint is not the one linked to the ticket the barrier doesn%26#39;t open and you can%26#39;t get in (don%26#39;t know what happens next, may be ticket gets confiscated?)
