Pirates of the Caribbean - Suitable for a 3 year old?

My 3 year old is a big fan of the PotC movie (I know, strange viewing choice for a 3 year old!)

Is the ride suitable for someone so young?

I think the ride is very tame, you should be fine.

the ride is quite tame. we rode this ride in June our 4 year old loves pirates, he was quite bored, its noth at all scary.

IMO the waiting area will be a huge clue to how your child will react. It is dark and a little scary for some older kids. My son was freaked out so I pulled him out of line much to my disspointment. I was so glad I did he took a long time to recover and was not the same after. I would not try it first thing like we did. Kids that are that age do not understand fiction from reality, what is on a TV is on TV. If that makes any sense?

My children always loved it. Now, my daughter went through a phase where she was afraid of the Haunted Mansion, but Pirates? Nothing to it.

When my oldest was threeish she wasn%26#39;t too fond of the idea of ';Pirates';. I told her that the name was actually ';oranges'; of the Caribbean and she was fine with that. It%26#39;s still a family joke and we all still call it that. :)

I think so! Our son (5 now) has been going on it since he was 1. This is one of our family%26#39;s favorite rides!
