How congested is it mid-March?

A group of us with a preschooler is trying to decide on a villa at Orlando or at FM Beach...the plus, of course, being the beach. A couple of years ago we were in the area of Sanibel and it appeared quite crowded even though it was February. Thoughts or experiences?

we are in ';season'; thru Easter, most of Florida is crowded until Easter. Orlando is more crowded because there is more to do...

From my experience, don%26#39;t plan on going anywhere in a car if you%26#39;re on FMB. It%26#39;s really congested for most of the day. If you%26#39;re on foot and planning on staying near the beach you%26#39;ll just have to deal with the crowds on the beach and in restaurants, etc. Once you%26#39;re off FMB however, I don%26#39;t feel like it%26#39;s as congested. The beach is a huge spring break destination, so that contributes to the crowds, as well as the snow birds that are still in town. But don%26#39;t let that turn you off. The area is great and you%26#39;ll love your stay.
