Safari booking at AKL

If I%26#39;m not mistaken, there is a special morning safari that you can book, but ONLY if you are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. ?

Can anyome verify this, or am I making it up? And how do you go about booking the safari, online or must I call to book? Thanks!

Thank you for the wonderful link!! Sadly, the Sunrise Safari is only offered on Sundays and Thursdays, and we will only be at the AKL Monday thru Wednesday!! Darn!

When are you going ?

You could do the Backstage Safari at the Animal Kingdom Park, not quite the same, a shorter version and no Dinner but it would be fun :)

We won%26#39;t be there until Jan. 19, 2009. It seems so far away!

I%26#39;m sure I%26#39;ll be around this forum alot, I%26#39;ll have all sorts of questions before I go. This is our first trip to Disneyworld, being as we can just drive to Disneyland in a day -we usually go there.

The Sunrise Safari is wonderful and worth every penny-as far as I know,it is only available to concierge level AKL guests and limited to 28 people so if you are staying on that level,book soon-it fills up fast

I will be booking the Sunrise Safari, I can%26#39;t wait! And I had thought you could only book that particular one 90 days in advance, but I just called and they told me I could book 180 days in advance. I%26#39;m so glad you all encouraged me to book super duper early or I may have missed out! I just can%26#39;t believe things book up 6 months in advance, but so many people on this forum encouraged booking that far ahead, and I am sure glad I listened!!
