Worried about rain....any rainy day suggestions?

I am traveling to Clearwater this Saturday 8/23 and staying until next Friday 8/29. So far, the weather forecast shows scattered thunderstorms nearly every day of our stay. I hope they are truly ';scattered';, so we can enjoy some pool/beach time.

Can anyone suggest good indoor activities around the area? I also have a 3-yr old, so toddler friendly suggestions are appreciated! We will have a rental car, so driving a bit is not out of the question. Thanks!

All day rains are pretty rare, and scattered thunderstorms %26amp; 40-60% rain chance is the norm for every day during the Summer. Doesn%26#39;t mean it will rain everyday, but it could. But it normally is for just an hour or two in the afternoon, then sunny again. I wouldn%26#39;t worry, Fay should be gone and you will have plenty of beach time.

Worried about rain....any rainy day suggestions?

We are heading to CWB this Sunday as well. We have a 3yr old daughter and were supposed to be there this week but postponed due to weather. It looks like the Tampa area was spared from Fay. Have you heard anything different.

We are planning on going to the aquarium one day as wll as taking her on the pirate ship cruise. Hopefully the rain won%26#39;t effect either of those.
