Typhoon Lagoon closed for 5 months

Typhoon Lagoon will be closing on 26th October and re-opening on 21st March.

Sorry if anyone else as given this information before, but i had to post quickley before i forgot the dates.

Typhoon Lagoon will close for refurbishment October 26, 2008 through March 21, 2009.

Typhoon Lagoon%26#39;s extended closing is due to numerous cosmetic, maintenance and infrastructure projects, such as painting,recoating slide surfaces, and resurfacing the wave pool and Ketchakiddie Creek.

Hi , yeah i knew it was going to be closed for December when we are there , but didnt realised until today that it was closed either side of December too. That is going to make Aquatica even more unbearable now. Looks as though it will be BB this time then...and early.

Caz - will it be warm enough to go in the water in December, if yes that%26#39;s good news for us as we go in November, thought it may be a tad chilly!';!!

dobbo08, I think for us Brits it will be warm enough, November temps are fine, can be more chilly in Dec %26amp; Jan. I have been twice in December, 1st was 1999, some days were chilly enough for me to go out a buy a light jacket, last time was 2006 and the weather was warm (a little rain some days) enough for t shirt. It%26#39;s only people from USA that sometimes find it cold, because they are used to higher temperatures throughot the year (unlike us).

So when will BB have its refurb?

BB Refurb is 28th September to 26th October.
