Beach Bar/Lounge

Our group is headed to SOBE next weekend for my bday. We are looking for a place to drink and socialize in the evening that is hammocks/lounge chairs in the sand (bar included)without having to jump through red ropes, bouncers and cover charges.

This probably sounds more like a Tiki bar, but I%26#39;ve read that they don%26#39;t exist anymore in SOBE.

I think some of the hotels on the beachfront have this, but do you have to be a guest?

1. Head to Lincoln Road and hit the sand. The diLido beach club is FABULOUS with hammocks, and a free hookah happy hour Thurs/Fri nights.

2. Then Sat/Sun - head to the southern tip of South Beach and Nikki Beach club for sun beds, hot bods and great fun. TELL them it is your birthday and they will hook you up with cabana/ free drinks etc.

3. Sunday pool party at the Shore Club and the Plunge bar on the roof (or also the beach level) of the Ganesvoort on 23rd.
