Best Hotel near Universal Studios?

Ok i%26#39;m staying at Saratoga Springs on the 1st October for 8 nights with my DVC but i%26#39;m looking for a good hotel near Universal to stay at for the Halloween Horror nights this year and to have a look around IDrive area and stuff as I%26#39;ve always stayed with Disney or Lake Buena Vista area. I%26#39;m looking to spend no more than $250 per night. Looking at staying a total of 2 nights. All help is greatly appreciated.

I would look into staying right at Universal. The Hard Rock and Royal Pacific should both be in your price range

Have a look at www.wdwinfo.com They always list any Specials that are available at those Hotels as well as others near by

The Doubletree on Major Blvd. is about as close as you can get without actually being on the Universal property. There%26#39;s also a Fairfield near that same location too, on Vineland Rd.

The Doubletree on Major Beulevard is well worth considering.
