Bilmar Beach Resort

Recently spent a week here in Treasure Island. This hotel is very comfortable, has a very nice beach, and heated pools. Rooms were clean and fine for us (a laid back- 62 year old couple). Weather was not great, but it was still very relaxing. Sloppy Joe%26#39;s serves resonable food and good drinks (pricy) but fine. Didn%26#39;t rent a car, probably was a mistake because would liked to see a Phillies game. Trolley run up and down Gulf. Blvd. and is cheap. Took the $22 super shuttle to and from airport. They run well.

Walked to Johns Pass, good for shopping if ur into that. It%26#39;s about a mile half from hotel. Eat mostly at Sloppy Joe%26#39;s. But did try Middle Ground Grill (2 blocks north), good food and more up-scale place. For breakfast try Foxy%26#39;s Cafe, near hotel in a little shopping center. Ocean was too cold but pool was nice and warm. Anyway enjoy.. WallyDgator

I was wondering if the Bilmar Resort has free WIFI?

I didn%26#39;t see it written anywhere when I was viewing the rooms?

I%26#39;m not sure if they have free wi-fi but they do have a computer in the lobby for the guest to use. We were there last summer and really liked the resort.

My wife and i staying there the 3rd week of September. .....i will send a post in...

Thank you both for the posts on the Bilmar Resort, I%26#39;ll keep checking for further tips in the future.
