Sheraton Vistana Villages I Drive

Hi! Any advice on which section of the complex to request in July this year? We have booked a 2 bedroom apt. We are a family of four, with children aged 7 %26amp; 4. It%26#39;s a special trip for my husband%26#39;s 40th birthday, so I would like to minimise any disappointment. Many Thanks, TK

I%26#39;d request Key West. It is like a small resort of it%26#39;s own, most buildings are pool side, and there is a club house/game room/exercise room all within the Keys Section. There are also tennis courts, grills, hammocks, shuffle board, basketball and volleyball. We just spent a week there, and the Keys section was perfect.

They do have more activities at the main pool (Bella Section), but you can walk there. My kids didn%26#39;t even want to go to the main pool because they liked the Keys pool so much. Don%26#39;t fret if you get in the Bella section though. I%26#39;m told all rooms have been remodeled, and although it is more spread out----you can walk to the main pool and all of those amenities at the main clubhouse, or you oculd walk to the Keys Section too.

I%26#39;d stay away form the Amelia section. Only because this section does not have any amenities of its own (no pool) and it is also across from construction, so not a great choice right now.

Have fun!

Hi, we stayed SVV last Nov and have booked for 3 weeks there this November. I don%26#39;t think I would be disapointed anywhere in this resort. We stayed in the Belle section (the oldest) which was closest to reception, main pool. The Keys was away from the main area but looked nice and had its own small pool. The Amelia is the newest section and still under construction. I would probably try and avoid Amelia as the constuction noise may bother you, and blocks 1 2 and 3 of the Belle are quite close to the construction too. However, I am going to request a top floor to minimise any noise from above.

Have a lovely stay

Thanks for your advice, folks!

We just got back from SVV, we stayed at the Bella Section building 6. This provided good access to the main pool area which also included a small restaurant, arcade, gym etc. There is a small pool area at the main pool which would be great for your 4 year old. Had a spray fountain that the kids seemed to enjoy. There are cabanas around that area, so if you like shade, you will have to get up early to get one, say no later than 8am maybe earlier for July since it will be busier.

Note that this is the older section of the resort, which is still very nice, but the key section is newer. They claim they updated this section but I feel all it was is linens and paint. Still nice though and it was clean. We had a nice view of the lake and water fall room 6306, my kids were in 6303. Note we did hear the people above us, shower running around etc. The 6306 unit was a end unit which was nice as we had less noise along side of us. If you have further questions, feel free to ask have a great time.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can update on how the construction work is going at the Amelia section? We are going in October. We will have two x 1 bedroom apartments and wondering what would be the best area for us? We have 2 boys in our party aged 11 and 17 to keep amused. Do you get a choice of accommodation at check-in or is it best to call/email ahead? Any advice appreciated.
