*** what to do and what not to do at Disney ***

I know there are a lot of people on this site. So what are some things you find that are great things to do while on your disney vacation?

What are things that you shouldn%26#39;t even waste your time on?

It can be the small things too. For instance my co-worker keeps telling me to do the Transit Authority as a short ride just to kinda cool off.

Ok, well it all depends on what you like, are you a trill seeker or do you like to take in the sheer wonder of how things look. me im a little of both, while in disney we like fantasiam really good show to watch, also i like big thundermoutain, thrill seeker side.peter pans flight is nice. pirates of the caribean, space mountain, on the scary side, haunted mansion good effects, transit things is ok, site down and enjoy the ride when you need a rest, orbitron, is good, so are the race track and the little coasters, actually most things are worth the que, its the way te are made and the attention to detail, same in universal, there rides are good, the mummy has you off your seat and shaky when you get off, they all have good things and are all for doesnt matter what age you are, i just like the whole florida thing and the food and smells it all one atmosphere that you wont get anywhere else, dont forget the fireworks the are amazing. its something really special, hope this helps you.

Here%26#39;s my list of my definite ';skip these'; things:

1. Stitch%26#39;s Great Escape--Magic Kingdom

2. Ellen%26#39;s Energy Adventure--Epcot

3. Sounds Dangerous--Hollywood Studios

yeah i would agree with kat, they are really not worth bothering with.

Oh guys....

I absolutley LOVE Ellen%26#39;s Energy Adventure!!!!!!.

I normally skip:

1. Stich%26#39;s Great Escape

2. Journey into Imagination

3. I%26#39;m not a huge fan of Innoventions either!.

i too loved Ellens adventure. Maybe i just got caught up with the ';first time to florida'; feeling - but i thought it was great. Im not a big thrill seeker kind of person and i must admit ';stitches adventure'; did make me laugh lol especially when he burps burgers and you can smell it lol. still turns my stomache now

Great things

-alternate every other day with either the beach (Cocoa is great for boogie boarding, Clearwater for shelling and swimming),water park or the pool to take a break from the parks.

MK-take in the Fireworks and enjoy true Disney Atmosphere

HS-ride Aerosmith as many times as you can!!!

-stay for Fantasmic..possibly the best Disney experience!

AK-do the safari as early as you can in the morning.

Epcot-grab a wine in Italy or France and stroll through the countries

Typoon Lagoon/Blizzard Beach-take a good book and have some quiet time lapping up the Florida sunshine

Downtown Disney-Planet Hollywood! -Enjoy a great meal in a great environment

-stop by Ghiradelli for a sample if nothing else!

Animal Kingdom Lodge-Have dinner at Boma and wander around this beautiful resort!

Spa Day-take an hour or two or three and get a pedicure, manicure or a facial...nice touch to the vacation

Shopping-head to Premium Outlets and buy a great pair of shoes!

Don%26#39;t Waste Your Time!!!!

MK-Country Bear Jamoboree

-Tiki Room

Epcot-Innovations(think that is what it is called)

Downtown Disney-Bongos Cuban Cafe....icky!

HS-Drew Carrey thing

AK-train to nowhere!!! (think it is Rafiki something)

Most importantly don%26#39;t wait in a line up more then 45-50 minutes!! Plan ahead and use those fastpasses!!!

Kat Cub Fan- That is funny I have done none of those. I am going to try stitch only because I like scarey things. If the wait is long, I will probably skip it again.

try to vist other disney hotel resorts, each one is unique. i didnt realise we could do this until our 3rd trip and now you cant stop us! the grand floridian, animal kingdom lodge and the polynesian are our favourites. the lobbies are spectacular. we usually book a meal in one of their restaurants as an excuse to visit, although you do not have to do this, anyone is free to visit.

(ps i also love the transit authority and so does my 7 year old. its the one thing she loves to ride again and again!)

btw themacsplusfive1 - stitch is not scary, trust me its possibly the worst attraction in disney and def not worth queuing for. i cant wait until they replace it. that and the car rally thing at MK (the name is failing me - you can see it on your right as you enter toontown) is absolutely rubbish. we were asked to complete a survey after riding it and we gave it a 1 out of 5 in all categories! indy speedway thats it! rubbish!
