boat watching?

Hello all,

This forum has been so helpful when I was planning our trip here, and also since we%26#39;ve been here!

But I do have one question that I can%26#39;t seem to find in the search function... Where can I watch boats come in? And what%26#39;s the best time to do so?

boat watching?

You can either drive out to the end of Gulf Shore Dr on Holiday Isle and walk out to Norriego Point or you can simply go down to the new Harborwalk Village. There are benches along the water or you can watch from Water Grill or Harry Ts- especially upstairs at Harry Ts.

Best time to see the fishing boats come in is from 3:00-5:00. But there will be alot of other boat traffic all day long.

I hit Harry T%26#39;s on Sunday - talk about good boat watching - sitting along that rail with a beer- Saw another sailboat get hung up on the sand about 20%26#39; off Noriego Point - guess they don%26#39;t watch the water color there.

We go to The Lucky Snapper and sit outside. We have fun ranking the %26#39;trophy girls%26#39; that are positioned on the front of the party boats as they head out. Some of those girls must not own a mirror...

The new joints weren%26#39;t open when we were there in May, but I%26#39;m sure we%26#39;ll check them out next year.
