Hi there,
Staying at the pop in August and I have a couple of quick questions for anyone that knows the hotel.
Do we need to take pool towels or can we use the room ones and get daily replacements? If so are they big enough for pool/beach use?
Is the hotel near to, within walking distance that is, any shops/bars/restaurants outside of Disney? If so, any recommendations for family with kids aged 6 %26amp; 14?
Many thanks all,
Mick
Couple of questions about pop century hotel
1. I am not sure if they are big enough, but you can bring towels down from your room, and they will definitely be replaced the next day by Mousekeeping. If you need more during the day, you can also just call the front desk, and they will get them to you.
2. It is not close to any of the places you mentioned. Most areas in the Disney complex are isolated, as is Pop Century. If you wanted to go outside of Disney, you really need a rental car or a taxi.
Couple of questions about pop century hotelthanx for the info :-)
I am also staying at the Pop Century in August and was wondering if they would have towels by the pool so you don%26#39;t have to bring your room towels. Does anyone know???
When are you going in August? We%26#39;ll be there August 24-30.
I stayed at Pop Century this past December and there were no towels at the pool. We had to bring towels from the room. I don%26#39;t know if it was because it wasn%26#39;t busy at that time or if they never have towels out. There are plenty of towels in the room though so you should have enough for your showers and your pool trips.
There is nowhere to eat around PopCentury. Like a previous poster said, Disney resorts are pretty isolated. I think they want to you to eat at their food court!
Thanks for the info about the towels!
You can eat at any of the restaurants at Disney, don%26#39;t feel limited to the Pop Food Court. Go explore some of the other resort%26#39;s Restaurants and of course there are the Restaurants in the Parks :)
