Traveling to Florida with Teens

Does anyone have any suggestions on a hotel/resort for our family? We have a 17 yr %26amp; a 21 yr old. We are an active family and like to do water sports, kayak, see wildlife and marine life. We will be coming to Florida in August.

Traveling to Florida with Teens

No big resorts/ hotels on Sanibel. The closest thing would be Casa Ybel which has some resort amenities (on site food, bar, rentals, etc.). Give it a look.

As always, for families I also recommend Pointe Santo (where we own our unit). We chose it because it is family friendly and a beautiful property.

If you are really into the wildlife either are pretty close to the refuges. Any inn or condo on West Gulf Drive gives you the closest access to the refuges while being close to the main concentrations of restaurants and shopping. If you have any other specific preferences I am sure you will get a lot of good feedback from others as well!

Thank you so much for your suggestions. I will definitely look into them. We are pretty flexible as far as location.

Staying at a place like Casa Ybel will give the most options for the whole crew, plus it is central to the Islands for splitting off by bike or car. Where ever you choose the two Islands are only approx. 20 miles tip to tip.
