We have bought 7 day MYW tickets without a hopper option.

However if we did decide to hop could we use one of the extra days to do this?

So could we use one day for MGM and then another day to do the evening %26amp; night at MK?

Nope, not allowed.

Disney computers know you have already been to another park that day, so when you try to enter the second park on the same day without Hopper option, the gates will lock, and the CMs do not override it.

Disney makes a lot more money now selling the hopper as an option, which is another $47.93 per ticket, whereas an additional day on a multi-day ticket might only cost $6 or so.

If you decide you want to park hop, you can add the park hopper option any time you want, even after you%26#39;ve started using the ticket. You can pay for the upgrade at any park ticket booth (including the water parks), Guest Services at Downtown Disney, and at the Lobby COncierge desk at your WDW resort.
