Disney fireworks prefered viewing

We will be at Disney 27th sept-4th oct and we have taken the fireworks prefered viewing option but are just wondering if anyone has done this before and were in Epcot and Magic kingdom is this situated and is it really worth booking in advance or are the views in other parts of the parks just as good.

I%26#39;m not even sure what that option is.... Is it a new Disney offering?

Disney fireworks prefered viewing

Its part of the free dining plan package,we usually watch MK fireworks from in front of the castle which is a great view so we are wondering if the prefered viewing will be any better thanks.

Hmm. I think this may have come from your booking agent, I can%26#39;t find any reference to preferred viewing with the free dining plan.

As far as I know the only preferred viewing is if you book via AAA membership, and the spots are a little off to the side, but much less crowded

Booked directly with Disney and were told today when we paid the balance that we could book prefered viewing for a certain night but didnt bother yet as its a bit to far in advance.

Ok, thats a new one on me, please share details as you might get any...

It%26#39;s part of the %26#39;Magic Your Way Premium Vacation Package%26#39;

Oh, ok that makes sense. I didn%26#39;t think it was part of free dining. You get it on the plat plan too, but we didn%26#39;t use it last time, and we used the fireworks cruise at epcot.

Wonder if they discount the Premium and Plat plans during free dining, since that%26#39;s a lot of the value...
