Where to eat?

Im staying at the Trump International in Sunny Isles in August and wondered if anyone could recommend some good restaurants in the area for lunch or dinner.

We are travelling from Scotland and also wondered about dress codes. Are most establishments smart casual?

Smart Casual will do it. The area has a few places you can walk to (not sure if you have a car). Most are across Collins Avenue in the strip malls. Best of the bunch is Timo for a lovely dinner. The hotel dining rooms are going to be very very pricey (Neomi 305 kitchen and Il Mullino).

I think you can make good use of the free shuttle service run by the city to get to shopping and restaurants that will be better suited to your taste and budget (unless you fancy spending a fortune at the hotels).

Here is a link to the free bus info:

I%26#39;m not sure how far up Collins Sunny Isles is but it is every bit worth it to get to Lincoln (somewhere just after 16th or 17th and Collins) where all the restaurants, caf茅s and shops are and eat at SushiSamba. Fantastic Japanase/Peruvian/Brazilian fusion cuisine which is blindingly tasty..you can%26#39;t really go wrong with anything you choose from the menu, even if you%26#39;re not a fan of sushi. You just get dish after dish which all of you can share...the miso-marinated seabass, teriyaki chicken, taco starters and the banana cake dessert are the highlights. The banana cake with vanilla rum ice cream probably being the best dessert I%26#39;ve had anywhere. Go there, you won%26#39;t regret it! And let us know when you get back.
