Staying in Tarpon springs for a month next year

I will be staying in the Tarpon Springs area next year for the month of March. I have been considering a vacation rental located on Lodestar Dr which is on the river between Holiday and Tarpon Springs. Can anyone tell me what kind of neighborhood it is? My wife and I are 71 and come to Florida each year for Spring Training. We%26#39;ve always stayed on the East coast but next year we want to stay on the West coast. WE don%26#39;t know anything about the area where the house is and could use some help.

I am not really familiar with the neighborhood, we enjoy going to Tarpon Springs while visiting family 2 or 3 times a year.

One thing you could do

Go to google

Go to maps

type in address, then get the ';street view';

It will at least show you the surrounding areas.

Walden, I%26#39;m familiar with the area. The street that the house is located on is in a community that has a lot of retirees as well as younger residents. It%26#39;s a middle to low income area. Each street you go on is hit or miss as for the condition of the homes. The surrounding area to it is not the best but there would be no major problems with you staying there. That area is actually in Holiday but it%26#39;s literally only a 5 minute drive into Tarpon Springs.
