weather end of october

Hello,

We are thinking of going the end of october for a long weekend. Will it be warm enough to swim and rent a pontoon boat. We are from the mid west so mid 70%26#39;s is plenty warm enough for us. We would be staying at the four points sheraton.

You can look at weather websites to find out the average temps (prob around upper 70s for highs) for this time, but generally it is still nice. Fall is perfect timing as you are past summer vacationing families %26amp; right before snowbirds, plus waters are still warm from the summer. Sunrises %26amp; sunsets are much prettier in the winter months, as the sun rises %26amp; sets over the Gulf :-)

You might consider a condo. More space %26amp; less $$$.

September and October are the best months on the Emerald Coast. With the disclaimer, the later in October you come, the more likely there will be a cold front come through and really chill the air...

Generally though, the gulf remains warm enough to swim and the air temp is plenty warm enough to enjoy the sun and water.
