If you had to choose one for a day trip which would you choose. We are a group of 5 adults and 2 kids 4 and 7. We have all been to SeaWorld many times. Thanks in advance
MGM studio's or Animal KingdomHi there!.
Animal Kingdom in a heartbeat!.
(MGM Studios), now known as Hollywood Studios is a much smaller park than Animal Kingdom.
For children 4 and 7, I think Animal Kingdom offers so much more.
MGM studio's or Animal KingdomAgreed, besides the stage shows, HS doesn%26#39;t offer much for kids. AK will keep them more entertained.
I would choose Animal Kingdom. However, if you want, it would be very easy to combine both parks. Animal Kingdom closes early, and Hollywood Studios (previously known as MGM Studios) is the smallest Disney park and is good for an evening visit. They fit together very well. However, you would have to pay extra for a park hopper.
HI we combined both parks on our last trip my kids are 5 and 9 we started the day in Ak and left at 3 for HS this meant we were able to see the High School Musical show have dinner and stay for Fantasmic this worked well for us and was cheaper than buying 2 park days.x
Animal Kingdom.
Your 4 year old will not be able to take advantage of the better rides at HS.
AK looks like the better choice.
I would say HS, the older kid would be ok an all the rides - we took our 7 year old daughter on everything last year - she also went on the T o T ride when she was 5 and loved it.
There was plenty for our yonger daughter too.
Not a big fan on A K - prefer Busch Gardens TBH.
Depends on if you want to see more animals or if you want different entertainment?
DHS has the lights, camera, engines show which you would probably all like as well as the Indiana Jones, again you will all like, the Muppets 3D, just lots of really fun things that adults and children alike will enjoy.
AK is okay for the animals, but has very few indoor air conditioned shows so it is very hot.
I would probably recommend DHS.
Regarding the rides for your 7 year old at MGM/HS
40 inches for Tower of Terror
44 inches for Rockin Rollercoaster
I like them both, but my favorite is MGM. There is plenty there for everyone.
