My husband wants to plan a family trip to disney. I mean everyone the in-laws his sisters and their children, his parents. I don%26#39;t want to travel in the middle of summer when the parks are to crowded and hot. Is March or April a good time. How crowded are the parks? We went to disney this past Dec. it was great no lines the weather was great would travel that time again but not everyone can get those weeks off of work. Need some advice please
late March or April
March and April are generally bad times to go to parks in Orlando. It is very, very crowded because of Spring Break and Easter, in fact even worse than summer. There may be a week or so in early March and late April where it%26#39;s not so bad, but most of these months will be very hectic.
If you can get the time off work I suggest going in early May instead. It%26#39;s not quite as good weather and crowd wise as early December, but it%26#39;s still a great time to go. Crowds are small and weather is getting warmer, but it%26#39;s not unbearably HOT and HUMID like summer, just pleasantly warm.
another good time is October, but that%26#39;s a long wait.
late March or April
Last week in April plus first 2 weeks in May was good for us.
If you can Only go at this time, last week of March or Last week of April would be your best bets. Avoid Easter week if you can, the crowds really are a bit much
If you could work it out for a Fall Trip, Disney may offer the Free Dining again for next year, that might give everyone something to get excited about and work harder to get time off for. The offer has been, the last few years, for last week of August - Sept 20th ( or so ) That%26#39;s a great time to, still can be quite Hot but the crowd levels are lower :)
Recommend April(after Easter) May time thats when we go
Try and plan around when the US kids will be out of school and when Easter falls and avoid that time!
