I know that last year Aug 07 Disney ticket and hotel prices went up. I was wondering if anyone has heard of an increase coming in Aug 08. I know that things have to go up, but my goodness if they keep increasing the price, people will not be able to afford to go. I also heard that Universal prices just went up 10 bucks, is this true?

Yes, Universal and SeaWorld just raised prices on some tickets, while lowering others, so it%26#39;s a give-and-take with those companies.
Disney has done their rate increases in August in both 06 and 07, so there%26#39;s no reason to think they won%26#39;t raise again in 08/08. In 06, they raised the prices two times in the same year (Jan and then again in Aug).

Gosh that%26#39;s bad to rise prices twice in one year, but I guess the sheer volumne of people still going, shows that it doesn%26#39;t have an adverse effect.
And the amount of the raises was fairly small. One thing about Disney is volume, with the number of people attending, a $1 price increase per day can generate a lot of revenue...
Did Universal raise their prices or just remove some of the discount that had been in place earlier this summer?
