Christmas at Disney World

We will be in Disney World over Xmas (arriving on the 19th of December) We are wondering what would be a good restaurant to have dinner that evening - hoping for something similar to what we would eat back home in Canada (ie: turkey).

We are having brunch that morning at Chef Mickey.

Christmas at Disney World

Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom would be a very good choice, but whatever you choose you%26#39;d better book quickly!

Christmas at Disney World

I would call the Disney dining line 407-wdw-dine and ask them. Some restaurants may have special Christmas menus. But like the last person said, I would do it quick. Hopefully there is someplace on property with reservations left.

Yes, call as soon as you can and be very flexible with your times and places. Christmas holiday dining reservations are scarce by now.

Thanks for the replies. We had been booking our restaurants as the 180 days approached but I was hoping to find somewhere we could get turkey, etc for dinner.

We have a reservation at the Marekesh restaurant and seats for the candlelight procession and story reading.

has anyone done this and what did you think.

YES! We do the Candlelight Processional every year and LOVE it! We saw it with Andie MacDowell last year and Gary Sinise the year before. I can%26#39;t recommend this highly enough for those that are interested. It%26#39;s so uncommon to see something like this done by a big company like Disney these days. And while you%26#39;re at Epcot, check out the fun Christmas Around the World talks at each of the lands. My kids love it.

I%26#39;ve eaten at Marrakesh too. I think there are better places to eat at Epcot but it was okay and unique. The food was decent and the belly dancer was fun to watch.

Agree with Liberty Tree Tavern, they have family style turkey , mashed potatoes, gravy, etc.

You can always take a look at what Disney World offered last year for Christmas and go from there - I can%26#39;t imagine it would change that much (other than the prices going up) - check out this link at allearsnet
