We plan to visit Daytona in late August. A friend of ours said that they always stayed in a hotel on the boardwalk called Star Inn (he thinks). I am not having any luck finding this hotel. Could it be under a different name? Sorry but all I have to go by is that it is in a great location right on the boardwalk. We are needing to make reservations soon. This is our first trip there so any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

The logo outside of the hotel look sort of star shaped... especially if your not paying attention. I hope you find what you%26#39;re looking for!!
Need Help with Hotel Name
I can%26#39;t think of anything right at the boardwalk with star in the name. I think the post regarding the Mayan might be right. It has a starburst symbol on the sign. It is also possible that the motel is no longer in existence. Several hotels just south of the boardwalk have been torn down for the beachfront park and just due to hurricane damage.
Just south of the boardwalk is the super 8, Mayan, Daytona Inn, Boardwalk. Just north is of course the Ocean Walk, Sunterra, Plaza, etc.
