Can anyone explain why the flights to Orlando ,that leave from Glasgow, on a Saturday always seem to leave late
Glasgow AirportMaybe not the preferred airline but Globespan leave at 10am on Saturdays from Glasgow.
Ive booked with them for Sept as I know some people that fly with them allot and never have any problems.
Glasgow AirportWe%26#39;re flying from Glasgow in August with Thomas Cook. Think our flight%26#39;s about 1030am.
The last 2 weeks that i have been looking at , the globespan flight has left over 2 hours late and the Thomas cook flight left 20-30mins late
Globespan are a nightmare
says the Hammer of Globespan once again !!! , they were 1 hour 49 mins late out of Glasgow on Saturday , take that out of the equation an they have had an average delay of 25 mins for departures since 2nd July - add it in and they have an average delay of 43 mins per departure.
Am monitoring thios closely after a discussion with the above poster last week , prefer to rely on stats and facts rather than hearsay.
For the record since 2nd July they have been ariving on average 16 mins ahead of schedule.
Thomsa Cook had a 1hr 41 min delay on the 3rd of July so it happens to all airlines - that said on Saturdays almost everyone is delayed for some reason , perhaps volume rather than anything else in the summer months.
I would also admit that when FGS get it wrong they do so spectaculalrly but they fly everyday to Orlando from Glasgow something no other airline does perhaps this is why they have a much larger amount of complaints - i%26#39;ll gibe my honest review of them once i use them at the end of this month but based on European experience with them i%26#39;ve had no problems to date (touch wood)
