Disney to/from Universal??

I%26#39;ve read about the I*trolly and the Disney buses. Do they overlap so to catch one from the other?

Disney to/from Universal??

No.

You need to use the ';real'; bus operator, Lynx, to make this journey as follows:

1) If you%26#39;re staying at a WDW resort

From a WDW Resort, take WDW free bus to DownTown Disney MarketPlace. Cross the street and take Lynx bus 50 (every 30 minutes). Alight at a stop right after this bus exits I-4 (ask the driver where).

There, transfer to Lynx 43 which goes to Universal.

And vice versa. Lynx 43 runs hourly on Mon-Sat only (not at all on Sunday) and the last bus going back towards the transfer point is at 6.40pm. Lynx 50 runs half-hourly 7 days a week until (towards Disney) 10pm.

2) If you%26#39;re staying at a Universal Resort and want to reach a WDW attraction (not resort - see above)

From Universal, take bus 43 (hourly Mon-Sat) to the intersection of Central Fla. Parkway and Westwood Blvd.

Transfer to Lynx 50 (Magic Kingdom) and alight at the terminus which is Disney%26#39;s Transportation %26amp; Ticket Center.

From there, take either the Monorail, a boat or a bus (as appropriate) to the attraction.

The last 43 heading back to Universal from the transfer point will be at about 6.55pm.

As you will see, it%26#39;s the 43 that limits your times. You can make the journey at other times (Sunday and later) via a different route that needs three buses (two transfers). The routes involved (from WDW, in order) are 50, 8, and then 21 or 37.

You can look at detailed schedules and maps for all these routes at www.golynx.com.

Each ride on Lynx costs $1.75 each person, each way. Transfers are free - ask the driver on your fist Lynx bus for a transfer (ticket) when you board and use this when you bard the second (and third) buses for your journey.

Transfer to Lynx 50 and alight at the ter

I think it is easier and quicker to just get a taxi from what I have read.

Certainly easier and quicker by taxi. Of course it is. It%26#39;s also a lot more expensive. Therein lies your choice.

yea that is what i am thinking with 2 6 year olds! Thanks so much for all the good info!

A taxi to Unversial and back (roundtrip) would cost you around $75.
